This coming weekend is the last before work officially resumes next week. And despite my almost-3-week vacation, I haven’t even crossed out half of my To Do List yet! Tsk tsk tsk.
On the bright side, at least I still have a couple of days to do some detoxifying. I’ll follow some of the tips found on this list by Kirsten over at MindBodyGreen. Here, she lists down 15 ways to detox one’s life and home. Check it out here.
I will also try to cook this creamy brocolli spinach soup. Food blogger Aimee of Simple Bites promises “It’s a Detox Soup in the sense that it will help you clear out some of your holiday-pie-eating-guilt!” Here’s the recipe.
Finally, artist Nela Dunato suggests ways to cure burnout and overload. She calls it the “mind detox retreat.” I think I might just try this one although this might take 4-5 days! We’ll see.
